Why Safe Moves For Mums

Provention has been providing manual handling/safe movement programmes to NZ and Australian organisations for the past 15 years.  

Our core First Move programmes give individuals the skills to be physically intelligent and perform their day-to-day physical activities safely. The result being a reduction in strain-sprain related injuries and associated personal and company costs. 

While conducting the First Move training within workplaces, we repeatedly got feedback on how practical and beneficial this information was for all the physical activities required of a ‘mum’. Activities such as lifting children, changing nappies, moving children in and out of car seats, hanging out clothes, emptying dishwashers, picking  up toys, carrying a toddler– the list goes on.

So we launched Safe Moves for Mums as our first consumer injury prevention resource.
