The Provention Team

About Our Team

Provention has been working with New Zealand and Australian businesses for over 15 years. We have helped hundreds of businesses reduce their injury-related costs and thousands of individuals improve their quality of life.
We improve people’s lives by educating them on new techniques and creating new habits to keep them safe at work and at home.
The best way to describe what we do is to compare it to athletes: To get better at their chosen sport, the athlete works on their physical performance to get more efficient, more effective and avoid injury. This is the same as a workplace.

Our passion is assisting organisations with a sustainable, effective, engaging and interactive manual handling programme that lives and breathes in their business and its people. It’s training for real people that works.

01

We practically share our knowledge and education to help people understand.

02

We strive to improve, always challenging the ‘norm’ with continuous improvement.

03

We are curious about people and their behaviour; we will always be learning to understand the neuroscience of habit change and the psychology of people.

04

We give people the tools to create new habits and follow up to ensure correct techniques are embedded.
